Last night, was.. you can say one of the most epic parties I’ve gone to. It was organized by Melvin who also graduated that morning. It was in Robot, a resto-bar near Ayala Triangle. Omnipresent green, lots of familiar faces, overflowing booze and some wicked beats.. I guess it’s the perfect combination for an awesome event.

But before I went to Robot for that party, I dropped by my friend’s graduation celebration at her house. Actually you know what, some of them there are the longest girl friends I have. Just saying.
Get ready for lots of photos.. I mean 24 more photos to look at, and since I’ll be posting a lot, I’ll just shut my mouth and let the photos tell the story.

More photos here!

The talk last Wednesday went alright. I think I said mostly what I want to share. However, it made me realize more that I’m really not made to be a speaker. I’m more of the guy-behind-the-camera/computer. haha! But I think some understood what I wanna say, and hopefully I made them realize how great marketing is.

Oh and by the way, my sister’s friends who were there told her I look like Bruno Mars. haha! Actually, if you look closely at my outfit and Bruno Mars’ outfit in his Lazy Song video, it’s the same. Checkered long sleeves, gold watch, black pants, black on black shoes and the brushed up hair. Okay, he was kind of my peg in this certain outfit. hahaha!

And this guy comes in… seriously I’m a fan. He’s so good with the audience.. actually with anyone. He makes everyone laugh. If you watch him speak, you’ll feel like you’re in a comedy bar. TJ Valderrama is always the man who can speak in front of a crowd without a single person not laughing. Hands down.

TJ imitated Marketing professors the whole time. He discussed who to take and how are they as teachers. HILARIOUS!

The speakers! I really enjoyed the experience. Oh and thank you to Pat for inviting us to speak on her very first event as the project head and Tish/Trish? (Sorry I’m really bad with names! If you see this, please correct me, and nice to meet you by the way!) who took this photo of me and TJ.

Though I was given at least a week before the actual talk to prepare, I was too busy to make it. I rushed my presentation in two days, hoping I could impart some knowledges I know, and the most important thing to me, to inspire at least one person in the audience, with it.
If you knew me when I was still in college, you’d know I’m just an average student. I’m not the best in class, I’m not the funniest, or even the hotshot hunk (obviously not). But being a normal student actually helped me understand different views easily coming from a neutral standpoint. What does a certain person have to be perceived that way? Or better off, to be successful? And in the process of finishing my course, I slowly found what I really want to do and understood what I need to do to get there.
Now, you’ll see how different I am from who I used to be. Before, I was this kid who just wants to fit in, until I found what I really love and realized fitting in is not enough. Understanding and creating your own society is what really matters. You gotta stick to who you really are to be happy, and just do everything you need to do to be successful in it. And that, I think, is what’s different about me and what makes me seem satisfied.
I’m hoping to get that message to those young people I’ll be speaking to tomorrow, be yourself and stick to what you really want. Then be satisfied and successful in the near future.

Oh, and about my slides, have you ever seen a presentation in camo? Am I trying too hard? haha! I just think showing my true self as far as my presentation design will help them understand more what I want to convey. What do you think? Besides, I’ll be speaking with the most entertaining and funny host/person I’ve known, so the least I can do is be different and a little bit more serious. (I just can’t be funny enough, I’ll look like a fool with TJ around. haha!)

My presentation will be kind of heavy in photos except the last few slides where I got tired and have no enough time to finish. Wanna know what I will say for each photo? You gotta be there!

Something personally experienced? haha! If ever you’re around the campus and you’re free do drop by our talk! It will be awesome!
And by the way, sorry if I sound like I’m so successful already, I’m not. But you gotta believe you are successful to actually be one, right? And to have that certain confidence that moves people to believe you and be inspired by you.

DLSU in it’s 100th year! Intense day, been like that for the whole day until around 10pm.

I went to judge an event made by Marketing Events students in De La Salle University in Two Serendra, it’s actually my first time there, nice place. The prof cannot get there early, so I was there to see what happens in the event while he wasn’t there. In organizing an event you gotta make sure the theme fits everything, event-goers are not bored, and more so, the VIP (yes I was a VIP, haha!).

And in this particular event, everything didn’t go right. Except that I really liked how my photos came out, the free beer and the shirt I got. Sorry guys (organizers) but you just didn’t do it right. I feel for their grade for this one coz I shared the same sentiments with the prof. Hoping you guys have high grades even without your final event. haha!

These photographers were fixing their camera settings from 8 - 9pm, they were 4 in one place, taking pictures of themselves the whole 1 hour. haha! I envy the other one though, his flash is really nice, just what I need.

The free beer I got, one of the only three things I enjoyed. haha! #harsh
I went to DLSU to help a couple of friends for their project for Vans Philippines, and also get new sneaks for my blog yesterday. We roamed around the campus to catch kicks, particularly Vans sneakers. I actually got decent photos and sneaker wearers, I even got Simon Atkins to pose for me, which ladies would probably love. Photos will be up soon in my sneaker blog. For now here’s what happened yesterday.

The whole day we were just looking down, the true actions of a sneakerhead.

The Vans team at work.

Agui, Melvin, Phoebe, and Nikki.

The swag man Melvin Sun.

One of the Vans wearers we spotted that has one of the dopest pairs. (in my opinion)

Those Vans collectors.

Vans Era, guitar, and a bonnet.

The Vans Team. Good job guys!! Hope to work with everyone again! (Phoebe, Agui, Nikki, and Melvin)

And by the way, thanks for the new shirt guys!! Got me three “this is the” Vans shirts already. Vans really is the shizz..

Watched Danz Dish 6 with Laura and Mills (the cheesecake duo).. and Anjo which I didn’t get to take a photo of. The show was quite nice, it was worth the time and the 200 pesos. haha! What’s funny is, I only got to watch LSDC’s (La Salle Dance Company) concert when I’m already done with school. But yeah, I enjoyed the show, and I do encourage everyone to watch them.. next year. haha!

Didn’t get any photos of the show, coz unfortunately they prohibit cameras. Well, I have mine, but our place isn’t a good angle to shoot from and got a little bit lazy too. So here, I just have them on my camera. haha!
