If you have seen my previous post, I said goodbye to my 2010 laptop cover sticker collection. And this one is the new one, though I cut the plastic stupidly I’d say the stickers are still awesome. Hopeful that I’ll get more stickers in the coming months. More experiences, brands and shopping.. everything means something. A somewhat reminder of what happened in the past, and how colorful life was.

This one by the way is my previous sticker cover collection. Since I’m at it already, I’ll give you some background of some of the stickers there.
Trilogy (upper right corner) - this was from our thesis, we reinvented Trilogy Boutique(an independent retail boutique in Makati) and made a new logo for their new image (which they didn’t use. haha!) It’s really memorable because, my passion for art, streetwear, and the like started and was strengthened when we were in Trilogy and while doing our thesis.
Obey stickers (upper left corner and below trilogy) - Besides from looking up to Shepard Fairey, the creator and owner of Obey, it is one of the very first stickers on my laptop. And his (Fairey) art just kicks ass, they’re really awesome.
Billabong Surf School - Last year was my first time to try surfing, it was a really fun experience. Went to a spontaneous trip with three of my friends, spent three days in San Juan, La Union, learned to surf and got to see one of my friends really.. REALLY drunk. Epic trip.
Inverted Crown (above billabong) - This is my logo for my supposed snapback cap brand. Brainstormed and worked for it for three months, but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. So I had to stop it, but hopefully in the future I could continue this dream. The process was really an experience, lots of inspiration and ideas that helped me grow more as a person.
So there, a brief background of some of the stickers there. Hoping to have more this 2011.
To wrap up my Melrose Ave. visit, here are shots I took while strolling around the area.

Fairfax Ave.!

Christian Audigier is same with Ed Hardy right? or somehow connected? One of the successful clothing brands that don’t deserve it. haha! No offense to users, though.

Obey wall! By the way that isn’t paint, it’s a wheatpaste graffiti. Yes, that big. Shepard Fairey kicks ass when it comes to that, no doubt.

Some graffiti infested alley near Sportie LA.

A different-fashion-forward shop and where I saw some TI$A stuff.

I can’t remember if the shirts were moving when were there. But by the looks of it, that’s how it is designed. They got Retrosuperfuture, 10.Deep, Mishka, and more in the store. Can’t remember the store’s name though.

And saw Urban Outfitters! Too bad, I didn’t get to check it out coz we were in a rush to go back to the airport by that time. And another thing, I don’t have money anymore. haha!
